BUILDING FUNDRAISER

 Over the past year, it has become increasingly difficult to find space for all the wonderful donations we have been receiving from the community. After thoughtful discussion, we have decided to move forward with an expansion to the back of the house for additional storage. We are now asking for your help!

We have seen a 4x increase in our monthly Family Program over the past 7 years, from 15 to 60 families per month. Similarly, both our weekly BackPack and Summer Programs have more than doubled over that same time frame, from 56 to 130 students per week. This has resulted in an increase in the volume of food items needed to continue making a substantial impact on the lives of the families and students living in our community.

The building we currently occupy was built in 1900 and is 1,392 sq. ft. We will be adding an additional 320 sq. ft. to create a stockroom. This will allow us to house more stock and create a less congested work area, making it safer for our volunteers.

The cost of this addition is $68,857. To raise funds for this project, we are holding an On-Line Building Fundraiser.  Please consider donating to this project, so that we can continue to provide for our community in a safe environment now and for many years to come.
